“At Wits’ End Corner”

Posted on

wits' endThe only time you really live fully is from thirty to sixty. The young are slaves to dreams; the old servants of regrets. Only the middle-aged have all their five senses in the keeping of their wits.

Theodore Roosevelt

Psalm 107:27-28

New International Version (NIV)
27 They reeled and staggered like drunkards;
they were at their wits’ end.
28 Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble,
and he brought them out of their distress.
Are you standing at “Wits’ End Corner,”
Christian, with troubled brow?
Are you thinking of what is before you,
And all you are bearing now?

Does all the world seem against you,
And you in the battle alone?
Remember–at “Wits End Corner”
Is just where God’s power is shown.

Are you standing at “Wits’ End Corner,”
Blinded with wearing pain,
Feeling you cannot endure it,
You cannot bear the strain,
Bruised through the constant suffering,

Dizzy, and dazed, and numb?
Remember–at “Wits’ End Corner”
Is where Jesus loves to come.

Are you standing at “Wits’ End Corner”?
Your work before you spread,
All lying begun, unfinished,
And pressing on heart and head,
Longing for stretching out trembling hands?
Remember–at “Wits’ End Corner’
The burden-Bearer stands.

Are you standing at “Wits’ End Corner”?
Then you’re just in the very spot
To learn the wondrous resources
Of Him who fails you not:
No doubt to a brighter pathway
Your footsteps will soon be moved,
But only at “Wits’ End Corner”
Is the “God who is able” proved.

Do not get discouraged–it may be the last key on the ring that opens the door..

My wife has just received the blessing of seeing her labor pay off from attending school even though we are pressed on every side by living arrangements and freedom of movement. Stretched beyond measure with daily necessities, but she stayed the course that Jesus has laid for her life and today she was notified of being placed on the Dean’s list at Argosy University for her major in Psychology with a minor in substance abuse counseling. We are believing for greater power and harvest than this. We are believing God for greater favor in a world that is not forgiving, I declare and agree, and decree it to come to past in Jesus name. I expect a deliverance from our plight of life as to be used vessels for God’s will and purpose in this area of oppression, I expect greater faith and strength to live a holy life. Are you expecting greater to get you through your “Wits’ End Corner? This is my birthday week end and be design I will be sober for 11 years for cocaine abuse, but on house arrest, Praise God!!! I am blessed to have hope that my joy is not established based off my perspective to participate in worldly activities, but to live and give thanks to My God for being within my heart and strolling with me as He did Adam and eve in the garden of Eden. Be blessed my readers and know that He is in control and able to do exceedingly and abundantly above what we can think, ask or imagine. Be encouraged and wait with faith.

A truly great testimony my friend. Continue to stay focus as you allow God to use both of you for His purpose and His glory will always be on display as the bright light that lives within you will shine through the short term darkness that you may experience from time to time. Be Encouraged and live out your life in Peace, Purpose, Power and Prosperity.
